Another Tip! Soy for Men who forget!
To members of Dr Luigi Gratton on Facebook

I like this research information so much that I had to send you another article today!
I often meet men who tell me that they forget things like keys and dates and times. Daily supplements of soy isoflavones could help boost a man’s mental function and memory, according to findings of a small study from Australia.
Men receiving daily supplements of the isoflavones performed significantly better in tests of their working memory, report scientists from the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide in the British Journal of Nutrition.
Researchers, led by Peter Howe, recruited 34 healthy men to participate in their 12-week double-blind, placebo-controlled cross-over trial. The men were randomly assigned to receive a daily dose of 116 mg soy isoflavones, providing 68 mg daidzein, 12 mg genistein, and 36 mg glycitin, or placebo for 6 weeks. They were subsequently crossed-over to the other intervention for the following 6 weeks.
Tests of memory, mental function, and visual-spatial processing performed before and after the supplementation period showed that the isoflavone supplements were associated with improved spatial working memory; “a test in which females consistently perform better than males”, said the researchers.
There is so much controversy about soy protein in the news, but consistent research shows that moderate soy consumption appears to have a myriad of health benefits.
Best of health again!

Yea, I’m a little upset to find out, after being a customer for the last 10 years that AT&T can play the games they do and tell you ‘well, there’s nothing we can do about it, that’s the way it is’.
They have lost a long time customer and a high paying customer for sure!
My bill from AT&T has an overage of $550 on it this month.
I called AT&T to find out why. According to AT&T, even though you are IN the US and you are dialing a US number, you are billed for the call AT THE POINT OF CONNECTION from AT&T meaning
Even if you are dialing a US number, if the original number is forwarded to another number, ie: AT&T usually has mobile to mobile free but, if you call an AT&T number that is forwarded to a home phone that is NOT an AT&T number, you are billed minutes for the call because the point of connect is the land line number.
OR
You call a US number that is currently out of the country therefore, the number connects internationally, you are billed for an international roaming call, without even knowing it. In other words, you better know not only who you’re calling but exactly what location they are in when you call them because IF they are NOT within the US, even though you’re calling their US number, you WILL be billed for international calls. That’s not right.
I’m sure this wouldn’t normally be a problem, never has been a problem for me before but is now AND, with Steven being in the Air Force and him making friends that will come and go over seas, should he call a buddy’s US number and that buddy just happens to be deployed at that time, unbeknownst to him, Steven WILL be charged for an international phone call. That’s not right!
AT&T said I should have had the international calling feature on my phone. I told them we DON’T make international calls so why would I have even thought about having that?! I ended up having to put a block on all my lines so now no international calls will come or go from our (cell) phones.
I also asked AT&T if they offer anything or can do anything to let me know if my bill reaches a certain dollar amount and they tell me they don’t offer that. Other companies do but AT&T says ‘no, you will have to check your bill yourself’. Yea, so I should take responsibility for my plan I agree but, if other companies can offer that, why doesn’t AT&T offer that?
Needless to say, I’m not at all happy with them or their service right now and have decided it’s time to move on, even if it costs me to cancel my plan, it’s not worth the risk of getting another bill like this and them telling me ‘too bad’.
What happened to customer service! AT&T Sucks!!!
